Sharepoint in Internet Explorer 11

This article is for fixing problems when using Sharepoint with Internet Explorer 11 (IE11). This may also fix issues with other versions of IE as well.
  1. Click the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar.
  2. Click the Tools button , and then click Compatibility View settings.
  3. Under Add this website, type in, and then click Add.
  4. Click the Tools button , and then click Internet Options.
  5. Click the Security tab, and then click a security zone (Local intranetTrusted sites, or Restricted sites).
  6. Click Sites.
  7. If you clicked Local intranet in step 4, click Advanced.
  8. Under Add this website to the zone field, type in Click Add.
  9. Make sure the check box is checked in the Require server verification check box.
  10. Click Close, and then click OK (or click OK twice if you clicked Local intranet in step 4).
